Blackpool Zoo is set in 32 acres of land and lakes, is only 2 miles from the sea front and contains over 1500 different animals such as lions, tigers, elephants and gorilas in numerous different award winning settings such as Gorilla Mounts and the Lemur Wood.

You can take a ride round the park in the miniature railway and there is a zoo specially for children where they can get to see, stroke and feed a wide range of domestic animals.

The zoo has several picnic areas and a cafe as well as good wheelchair access and baby changing facilities, which make it an excellent choice for a fun family day out in Blackpool.
